The Te Papa Art Diary has become a classic, with fans the length and breadth of the country. This year, art curator Victoria Robson chose the artworks that appear in the diary, including works by Colin McCahon, Brent Wong, Robin White and Judy Darragh.
The selection of images also includes a number from the museum’s decorative arts collections; jewellery, quilts, and ceramics. Photography is also well represented. As ever, the images evoke our landscape, our people and our iconic country – both historically and now – and this year’s selection is particularly bright and playful.
